American accreditation to Polish medical schools extended

The US National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA) decided to extend the positive evaluation of the Polish medical schools accreditation system.
According to Polish the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, NCFMEA's positive rating is evidence of the high quality of education at Polish universities.

US students will be able to take up paid medical studies at Polish universities, apply for co-financing in the form of federal student loans, and, upon completion of their education, take the United States Medical Licensing Examination under the same conditions as persons who have graduated from American universities.

According to the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the number of US student enrollment at Polish universities will rise as well as the number of foreign students interested in studying medicine in Poland.

Since 1997, Polish medical schools have been receiving positive assessment from the American committee.
